Koninginnedag 2009
In de week van de 100e verjaardag van koningin
Juliana heb ik een Koninklijke eik uit de paleistuin van
het Loo gehaald. Geplant in 1684 bij de aanleg van de
paleistuin heeft heel het koninklijk huis ervan genoten.
Ook prinses Irene zal hem omarmd hebben.
Van mij mocht hij blijven als
paradijs voor paddenstoelen en houtkevers,
maar voor Koninginnedag wilde men hem netjes weg.
Geen vrachtwagen was groot genoeg in het land, dus heb
ik hem in drie delen met een enorme trailer naar
Harlingen laten brengen waar hij rond Koninginnedag door
Almenum ambachtelijk verzaagd wordt tot koninklijk
vloer- en meubelhout.
Kwaliteit, duurzaam,
goedkoop: Ik lever die
bijzondere inlandse houtsoorten in steeds groter
oplagen. Hout is mijn hobby en mijn passie. Ik zaag
mooie houtsoorten voor een bescheiden prijs. 2 planken
of 100 kuub, wat u wilt.
Voor de verschillende houtsoorten klikt u op het menu
links en u wordt uitvoerig geïnformeerd. Heeft u

Inmiddels heb ik een enorme partij western red cedar
bevelsiding (ijsselrabat). Dit western
red cedar bevelsiding
is exact het zelfde
als waarmee in Amerika bij
voorkeur alle houten huizen worden betimmerd.
De kwaliteit is Premium Knotty,
dus met hier en daar een gezonde noest, het is duurzaam
en erg prijsvriendelijk. De maat
is 19 cm breed en 18 mm dik aan de dikke kant. De prijs
voor dit western red ceder bevelsiding is E 29 incl. btw
per werkende vierkante meter. Let wel, gemeten
aan de gevel zeg maar, met een
overlap van 2,5 centimeter. U betaalt dus niks teveel.
Ook is er fraai balkhout voor
bijvoorbeeld pergola's, dakterrassen en buitenkeukens
van western red cedar 5*15 cm kopmaat en rond vijf meter
lang.

Voor binnen is nu mijn unieke Populieren, relatief
hard en beslist uitzonderlijk mooi. Het populieren is
hier ook heel vriendelijk geprijsd verkrijgbaar in
multiplex van watervast verlijmde interieurkwaliteit. Ik
heb daarvan speciaal platen laten maken met veer en
groef. Samen met mijn massief populieren of alleen met
massief zijn daar
prachtige lichte lambriseringen en wanden van te maken.
Goedkoper en luxer per saldo dan gipsplaten met al hun
afwerkkosten van naden stucken, behangen e.d.
Behaaglijk, isolerend en geluiddempend bovendien. Ook de
afdeling interieurbouw (zie hieronder) heeft nog
bouwcapaciteit.
Nieuw: interieurbouw
Vaak wordt mij gevraagd of ik ook timmerwerk doe. Nee
dus, maar ik heb dit nu op het hoogste niveau
georganiseerd. Samen met een door mij zelf geselecteerde
groep professionals open ik een productielijn voor
interieurontwerp en interieurbetimmering in het luxe
segment. Hier is niet de prijs maar de kwaliteit en de
snelheid doorslaggevend. Dit hoeft ook niet perse met
mijn hout. Staal en moderne plaatmaterialen worden in de
interieurdesign en interieurbouw niet geschuwd.
Restauratie of nieuwbouw van klassieke interieurs of
juist hypermodern.
De door mij geselecteerde groepsleden, architecten,
interieurontwerpers, meubelmakers, interieur- en
scheepstimmerlieden, zijn in staat om uw plannen op
papier te formuleren en wat hun hoofd kent maken hun
handen.
Kern van dit collectief initiatief is dat wat u gevraagd
heeft daadwerkelijk wordt gerealiseerd en binnen de
afgesproken tijd. Wij nemen geen spaghetti van
opdrachten aan, maar concentreren ons volledig.
Deze werkwijze is, in een wereld waar kwaliteit en
planning al lang is ondergesneeuwd wel heel
uitzonderlijk. Het lijkt qua tarief iets duurder, maar
door de aandacht voor ontwerp, planning en vakmanschap,
kan het toch budgetneutraal uitpakken binnen de hoogste
kwaliteitsnorm. Waar mogelijk worden alle delen van het
interieur installatieklaar voorbereid zodat de
bouwoverlast een minimaal tijdsbeslag heeft.
Uw projecttijd kan ook verkort worden door de
interieurelementen al prefab te maken in de tijd dat de
ruwbouw wordt gerealiseerd.
Minimale doorlooptijd betekent maximaal profijt.

Hout- en klimaat-alarm? We ontvangen van
verschillende kanten berichten dat onbehandeld hout in
de herfst vlekkerig wordt, Lariks, termohout etc.
Waarschijnlijk lossen door het vocht de kleurstoffen
sneller uit dan dat ze bleken of afspoelen. Maar
waarschijnlijk zullen deze houtsoorten in het volgende
jaar juist meer gebleekt zijn. Zodra de laatste
houtsuikers verteerd zijn verteren ook de oppervlakte
schimmels.
Maar de planken aquawood, die ik buiten test daar
gebeurt in ieder geval nog helemaal niks mee. En, wie
bij mij koopt kan voortaan de Ecoleum, ecoleum
inpregneer, gekookte lijnolie en percoleum van Koopmans
met 20% korting erbij krijgen.
